AquaConc® Textile Colors are concentrated water-based pigments, that must be used in conjunction with AquaBrite® Extender, or AquaPaque® Blockout K. As the name suggests, water-based screen printing inks are those which can be dissolved in water. Such inks use water as the main component to carry the color pigment.
Water-based ink completely soaks into the fabric instead of sitting on it. This is the reason why water-based inks give a soft, clean, and a long-lasting print. Moreover, one with no or little screen printing experience can work efficiently with water-based ink.
From the product label:
AquaConc® colors, are concentrated textile colors that must be used in combination with an extender. The ratio of extender to pigment determines the shade and depth of the final color. For printing on dark backgrounds, consider using the AquaPaque® Blockout in place of the AquaBrite® Extender.
